Focus, order, system and method. Four elements that guide the process. Rules to catalog thoughts, actions, and possession give way to the construction of what could become a language. Indexing, sorting and labeling, provide an outline for the work and for the individual. Absolute answers are not the quest, nor is discovery of proofs, merely self-awareness in present tense through the drafting of arbitrary self-imposed rules.
The choices, the consequences and the individual are inseparable. The acknowledgment that all is connected far beyond the individual must be addressed. One system within many others overlap. It is to those intersections I call the civil interface.
As I find a way to function with our interlocked society, I constantly return to ontological questions that provide no answers but make choices easier.
